Founded in 1969 by Alan Lupton Sr, Lupton Associates has provided over Two Billion Dollars worth of engineered products to OEM's and Contract Manufacturers since the firm's inception.  With a service record to many of our principals of over 25 years and an average employee tenure exceeding 15 years, Lupton Associates has grown to become a leading solutions provider in the North American Manufacturing Industry.  Today the firm is led by Alan Lupton II and Graham Smith.  Al Lupton Sr continues to work as a consultant to the organization and provides valuable insight and knowledge from his 40 plus years of industry experience.

Alan Lupton

Al Lupton Sr, founded the agency in 1969 after leaving his position as a buyer for prototype and production parts at Xerox Corporation.  Previously, he was a production control administrator at Xerox and Jarl Extrusions in East Rochester, NY.  Al has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He founded the organization and was responsible for many of the key principals and key client relationships which formed the cornerstone of Lupton Associates.

Graham Smith

As Vice President of Operations for Lupton Associates, Graham Smith is responsible for the firm's HR, accounting and financial operations.  He joined the firm in 1978.  Before that, he was Senior Auditor at a Rochester-based accounting firm, Miller Associates, for more than ten years.  His history also includes several years as the President of a large sheet metal fabrication company.  Graham has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a licensed CPA.  He is a member of several professional organizations, holds a pilot license and is the treasurer of his church. 

Alan Lupton II

As President of Lupton Associates, Alan Lupton leads the organization's Sales, Marketing and Business Development efforts.  Alan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The University of Vermont, Kalkin School of Business.  From 1992 - 1996, Alan provided coverage in New England calling on accounts such as Compaq, Intel, Cisco, Nortel and various contract manufacturers.  In 1996, Alan relocated to Rochester, NY and developed relationships within Xerox and Carrier.  He now travels with the salespeople in all territories providing management oversight, supporting the development of strategic accounts, assisting with program management and business development in all areas.

Ronald Martin

Ron Martin calls on accounts in New England, focusing on a wide range of high-tech and commercial firms.  Before joining Lupton Associates in 1984, Ron had ten years of experience in purchasing and product management at Telelogic, Savin Corporation and Sperry Univac.  Ron has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and has completed the Zero Defect Program at Philip Crosby's Quality College in Winter Park, FL.

Chris Dunham

Chris Dunham joined Lupton Associates in June of 1995.  He calls on accounts such as Raytheon, Lucent, Sun Microsystems, HP, EMC, design firms and several contract manufacturers.  Chris has a keen insight into the development and program management of integrated solutions for a wide variety of applications.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Rochester.

Cass Roberts

Cass Roberts joined Lupton Associates in 1995 to develop new business in Upstate New York. He has excellent business development and prospecting skills which he balances with an ability to manage and sustain existing customer relationships. 

Cass comes to the agency from the energy industry with fifteen years of sales experience.  He was previously employed by Pal Energy Corporation of Palmyra, NY, acting as Vice President of Marketing.  Cass is a 1981 graduate of Hobart College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.

Steven Killips

Steve Killips' territory includes Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania.  He calls on companies such as Xerox, Kodak, Heidleberg, Harris and various contract manufacturers.  Before joining Lupton Associates in 1996, he had eleven years experience as a sales engineer for an Aluminum Extruder.  He interfaced with major OEM customers and provided technical field support in the development of both new and existing business.  Steve holds a Bachelor of Science  from Central Michigan University.

Rusty Munn

Rusty Munn has been based in the Metro-Denver area since 1988.  Networking through his contacts with customers, design firms and industry trade groups has been key to his success.  Rusty excels at prospecting and providing a total solution for his customers such as Eurologic, HP, Echostar, and AE.  His entire tenure has been spent developing the Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Utah markets.  He has an incredible depth of knowledge of the area industries 

Rusty holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The University of Northern Colorado at Greeley.

Greg Johnson

Greg Johnson had been with Lupton Associates since 1997 providing coverage in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.  He has developed many valuable contacts and has a high level of insight into his territory.  His major accounts include companies such as Agilent, Volvo - Mack Truck, Dade Behring and McKesson.  Prior to joining Lupton Associates, he was employed by KJ Transportation as a Sales Executive before being promoted to Vice President of Customer Service and Special Hauling. 

Greg has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Marketing from Western Michigan University. 

Tom Osso

Tom Osso joined Lupton Associates in 1996.  Previously he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ACDI, an electronics design and engineering firm.   Tom has extensive experience in electronics, telecommunications and computer hardware design and manufacturing.  In addition, he has an aptitude for developing new business that incorporates integrated solutions, both mechanical and electrical.  His geographic area of responsibility is Maryland, Virginia and Research Triangle Park in North Carolina; his key accounts include Cisco, IBM and Andrews. Tom has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Jeremy Holland

Jeremy Holland joined the agency in 2005 to cover North Carolina and Tennessee.  Jeremy’s background is in the wireless telecom industry where he has 10+ years sales and management experience.  Most recently he worked for Sprint PSC and during his climb through their hierarchy he held such titles as Sales and Merchandising Manager and Indirect Sales Manager.  Included in his successes is the launch of the Orlando, FL market for Sprint PCS.  Jeremy managed as many as 75 sales representatives - a group that was number one in sales and customer satisfaction during his leadership. 

John Walker

John Walker joined Lupton Associates in 1998 after selling Ingersoll-Rand products for six years.  He began his career at Air Centers of SC in a technical support role and then advanced to outside sales of air compressors and compressed air systems.  At Lupton Associates, John has proven his skill at prospecting and developing a broad base of accounts.  He has a proven ability to balance the importance of generating new clients while maintaining key existing account relationships. 

He has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University.  John has been the recipient of the Elizabeth Schuler Management Leadership Award and has served as acting president of the Society for the Advancement of Management.  John covers South Carolina, Georgia and portions of Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.  He calls on accounts such as Scientific Atlanta, NCR, Carrier and Siemens. 

Ron Kissel

Ron Kissel joined the agency in 2005 and represents a strategic expansion into the Canadian market.  Ron has been working in Ontario as a manufacturer’s representative since 1996.  His customer base has been comprised of fortune 500 OEMs, as well as, small to medium sized high tech ventures; Ron’s past responsibilities had an emphasis on off-shore sourcing.  Prior to 1996, Ron worked in direct sales for Sony of Canada.  Ron’s successes at establishing strong customer relationships have been recognized through numerous awards.

Brad Self

Joining our group in 2007, Brad is responsible for the development of new business in the Southeastern US.  His geography includes Florida and portions of Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi and Alabama.

Brad came to Luptons with seven years experience as a Field Sales Engineer, selling custom engineered solutions and electronic components.  Brad was a top producer for a well established manufacturer's representative firm.  His primary responsibilities included business to business development in South Carolina and Georgia and coordination and training of distribution partners within the various sales channels.   Most recently Brad was an Executive Mortgage Banker for BayRock Mortgage;  he lives in Buford, GA.

Kim Cruise

As our Director of Information Technology and Communications, Kim Cruise maintains our IT systems and helps in the development of key marketing materials.  Prior to joining Lupton Associates in 1998, Kim worked for a consulting firm specializing in consumer packaged goods.  Kim was responsible for major accounts such as Frito-Lay, Proctor & Gamble and Nestle.  Kim is also trained in the administration of Windows networks and oversees the smooth operation of our information systems and computer hardware.

Tammy Perry

Tammy Perry has been with Lupton Associates since 1989 as our Office Administrator.  Tammy's background and expertise is in accounting and bookkeeping.  She manages the accounts payable, accounts receivable and various other accounting functions.  She provides invaluable support to the entire sales organization and is instrumental in professionally handling special projects or events.
